Sitting on the bank of the River Fowey, the property is an oasis of calm at the water’s edge, and the stunning view that greets visitors on entering never fails to take the breath away, whatever the weather. For us, sitting on the patio, reading the papers and watching our sons sailing with the local club is a perfect way to relax. What is wonderful about Fowey is that so much is within walking distance: fishing trips; the lovely shops; fabulous walks (both coastal and woodland); and places to hire a dinghy, yacht, kayak or motorboat to mess about on the river. It is quite simply the perfect place to while away an afternoon.
